Work-life balance is touted on the website but left in the dust by middle managers.
It's more difficult to move into different departments. VP and Director level managers increasingly want only genius-level people from top schools.
You should consider hiring/retaining more mature workers who have a longer vision.
Teamwork means embracing other people with talents that might not be exactly the same as yours, who didn't go to your school, and who may not act as aggressively but are still making huge contributions.
