• Managers are pathetic, especially non-technical managers.
• Micromanagement, no, I would say nanagement.
• Just update Jira tickets—skip the real work, and you'll still grow.
• What is Hike?
• Most managers are unable to handle teams of more than 8 members.
• They will say 100% automation, but they are just words. Your whole time will be spent on manual efforts.
• Daily triage, that too manual, and only script updates.
• Triaging and fixing scripts won't count as measurable effort, yet you'll spend 80% of your time on it.
• Lengthy processes, even for small updates.
• The framework is at its saturation point. It is in maintenance mode.
• If you raise concerns, don’t expect support—managers are more likely to defend than resolve them.
• You’ll get WFH, but no real work-life balance—just the illusion of it.

If an employee is raising concerns to higher management, don't throw them out. Listen to the concerns.
