You cannot trust management
The company's mission is valuable, rewarding, and satisfying. This is the biggest plus by far.
Salary is nice.
Logo looks okay.
Bad management: There are a few seriously spoiled apples in low to mid management, and upper management has no clue.
They promised (in writing) that Verisign would stay in fully remote mode even after the pandemic. And now they force the employees back into the office, for now only 2 days, but we know where this is heading.
You cannot trust management on any level.
Run if you have other options.
Listen to your employees; they know better than you do.
Keep your promises; don't break them.
Silence and kick out the busy-bodies on the director level. They are horrible and make working under them a nightmare.
