The leadership cares about their employees. The perks are a lot. There are a lot of resources and stuff to learn. They appreciate any extra effort.
Work-life balance is encouraged.
There are some politics. Some people think that if they own stuff, they have job security. Thus, they are not open to share knowledge and information and would not appreciate suggestions to use best practices, especially if they are given by someone in a lower position.
Also, security is strict, as it should be, since data leaking would be something unpleasant.
Finally, the pace of the company is slow. Combined with the mentality I described above, it sometimes feels more like a bank and less like a technology company.
Keep trying to remove politics and modernize services and approaches to improve quality and reduce any risks.
Being open to remote work will benefit the company.
Thank you for all your help.
