Pros: Flexible schedule, but I accepted the job knowing it would require a 24x7x365 commitment on a rotating basis for routine issues until there was an outage. Occasional all-hands issues.
Cons: knowing it would require 24x7x365 commitment. This includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, 4th of July, anniversaries, kid's birthdays, etc.
