Process

Verizon came to my campus for hiring. I applied for the role in mid-July and was scheduled an online coding test.

The test had three sections: Aptitude, Java/C++ related questions, and DSA.

I received an email from my college placement office stating I had cleared the first round and qualified for a technical interview. The technical interview was quite straightforward. They asked about my previous internship experience and my projects that were listed on my resume.

Upon clearing that, an HR interview was held. Standard HR-related questions were asked, and it was a fairly brief interview.

I received an email on August 10th stating that I had cleared the hiring process and was selected. I joined Verizon as an FTE in August the next year.

The process was exciting and straightforward.

Questions

There were no fixed interview questions, as the questions were based upon your resume. I was asked to explain my projects and describe my role in my previous internships.
