I got the interview from the career fair. They asked questions related to React at the career fair, and then I was invited to two back-to-back interviews, both asking LeetCode questions. Then I was invited to a dinner. The next week, I asked for the next step, and they just rejected me.

Pros: Good environment at the office. Very few managers are good. Maybe my luck, I have got assigned to a great team. Work-wise, I was totally satisfied.
Cons: If you are a contractor, forget about being treated as a colleague; they are not even going to treat you as a human. They will not even consider you in taking project suggestions. My other friends who joined as contractors faced a lot of humility.
IMPORTANT - No job security if you are a contractor.

Pros: Good quality company and vision.
Cons: Accountability seems to be lacking within the channels. Sr. Management is more worried about 30/60/90 day funnels than if Verizon is thought of as a trusted partner.

Pros: I've worked for Verizon for 26 years and never felt stagnant or bored. I've always been on cutting-edge projects and feel like my work affects the bottom line of the company.
Cons: I really have no cons. The only concern I have is health care for retirees in the future.
