Process

Horrible Experience:

I was reached out by a recruiter from Verizon.

I was told the manager would reach out soon for an in-person interview. The manager did reply me for an in-person interview at midnight for the next day.

Once I reached out to the recruiter, it seems it is normal for them to send emails or work late hours until midnight and it's normal to schedule an in-person interview within 10 hours. If you end up being on such a team, it is going to be a pain. This speaks a lot about the manager and HRs. For them, it is normal to work until midnight or receive emails for trivial matters at midnight and act within a few hours.

Usually, no one sends mail at midnight if there is no production bug. This speaks a lot of the chaotic management at Verizon.
