I interviewed for a Java Developer role in Chennai. The technical interview was short and completed in a single day. The HR round was only for discussing salary, notice period, etc. It could be one-on-one or with 2-3 persons.
The overall experience was good.
Questions
They focus on one's understanding of Core Java concepts and web services.
Basic knowledge of SQL is a must, which includes inner joins, etc.
Familiarity with the latest trends in technology like DevOps, Cassandra, and cloud-based technologies, as well as the latest entries like AngularJS, EXTJS, and NodeJS, and the ability to write tools independently, is a great advantage.
