We had four rounds:
In interviews, they try to analyze your thought process. Be careful about what you're speaking. Clearing the written exam is slightly hard because they will shortlist students in only the top 4 percentile. In GDs, don't interrupt when someone else is talking and have a clear idea of what you're talking about.
In the technical interview, they didn't ask much about technical stuff. The discussion was around the projects I have done. If you have good grades in college or school, they may test your basics in math, physics, or maybe chemistry (don't worry if you don't remember much; they eliminate based on your answers to these questions). The interviewer asked a couple of basic C, Java, and MySQL questions.
At last, he asked me to rate myself on a scale of 10 in Java, Python, PHP, and MySQL.
HR Interview:
(If you are already placed in a company and then appearing for this interview, then you will be asked a question: "Why did you come to Verizon when you are already placed in another company?" You can give him the same answer you gave for the second question, but in a refined way.)
P.S. Presence of mind is very important, and don't lose your cool because they test your patience. Be honest. All questions will be from your resume, and be confident.
