The Manager and Director listen to me. Based on my assessment, they agree with my decision. They inform upper management and ensure they understand why we took this path, always keeping cost savings and customer service reliability in mind before making the final decision.
I don't have any issue with my Manager, Director, or ED. They listen to my advice.
Just keep the communication between Engineers and Management (ED and VP) to two people.
