Pros

Work-life balance was decent. The benefits were pretty good as well. I enjoyed the work and colleagues.

Cons

Since Hans took over, horrible decisions such as buying AOL and Yahoo have occurred. Our stock tanked from around $55-57 a share to $29.

No longer an American company, as most of the executives are foreign nationals. If you didn’t go through their college recruiting program, good luck getting promoted.

The VLDP is the golden ticket to the top. I watched a highly effective and respected manager get overlooked for a director role by someone who had been with the company for only a few years but went through the VLDP program. I saw this several times.

Advice to Management

Stop trying to say the pricing isn’t the reason customers are leaving in droves. It is!

When Verizon is losing thousands of subscribers each quarter and T-Mobile is gaining hundreds of thousands, that should tell you something.
