The pay and benefits kept me working at Verizon Business. Training courses were available online, but since you work 50-60+ hours a week, when do you have time to take them?
Too many long hours and weekend work. Little to no recognition for the job you do. Very little senior management support when things are going badly. Absolutely no training available. Learn as you go, but make sure the schedule doesn't slip.
Slow down! All of the releases you slam into production eventually will become a house of cards.
Take a reality check. Realize that improving market share does not mean you must have EVERY customer.
Learn to be transparent when dealing with your employees.
Got a call from HR regarding the position. They set up a phone screening call with the Hiring Manager, where we discussed more about my background. After that, I got a call for an onsite interview. It was a 3-hour interview with 6 people. All rounds
Applied for a job opening and got a call from the recruiter to schedule the interview. The first round was supposed to be technical, but the interviewer focused on cultural fit questions.
The Hiring Manager was really good and communicative. The candidate did well/average in the coding challenge. I don't know why I was not called for the next round, though the response was quick. The process didn't take much time.
