Advice to Management

Look out for your employees and make sure there is room for growth for everyone. The Verizon umbrella is large, but there is very little cross-communication between teams in the organization. Make sure there are strong relationships between different groups across multiple locations.

Put more focus on employing quality personnel with permanent positions, then leveraging contractual resources. This is very shortsighted. Quality > Quantity.

Rebranding is hard, and it's difficult to move away from being a telecom company, but remember to continue to innovate and push the envelope so that you can attract the best talent with interesting projects. Engineers care about impact, so be sure to create that environment if you want to survive and flourish as a "tech" company.
