Pros

Excellent and competitive salary with plenty of room for growth.

The company supports continued education via a limited yearly tuition reimbursement.

Pushing to stay on top of the technological spectrum creates an exciting work environment.

Cons

Constant quarterly reductions in force (layoffs) create a stressful environment and lower morale in many teams. Many are not skill-based layoffs but more of a "who you know" situation.

You are expected to work long hours as a salary employee, including weekends. I have even had to take my laptop with me whilst on vacation.

Advice to Management

Listen to your direct reports. Put friendships aside when making decisions of who goes and who stays. This should solely be based on job performance and merit. Make sure that team members cross-train on their responsibilities so that when someone goes on vacation, they can truly go on vacation.
