Recruiter Call Phone Screen Onsite (In Person or Virtual)

I chose onsite. The people I met with were really nice and helpful.

I had a hard time with one of the questions and failed in the onsite round. Overall, I had an amazing time meeting the team, and the manager seemed really interested in helping his team succeed.

Create a Trie, insert values into the Trie, and iterate through the Trie to find ending flags.

Given a string, find whether or not a particular pattern is present, skipping letters when necessary. This was the hardest question for me. I had to solve it using recursion, and I had not practiced recursion at that time.

Given multiple time windows, find the slots with no overlap or a similar concept (interval question).

System Design: Ingest millions of records and keep an up-to-date record of which systems are down or up to display on a dashboard.
