Pros: Nice compensation, challenging, and nice vibes.

Cons: Very demanding. Some services were legacy and were hard to move forward fast.

Pros: Good compensation and work-life balance.

Cons: Poor management, unclear processes, chaotic.

Pros: The biggest pro is definitely the smart, talented, humble, and hard-working people I get to work with, as well as the product and the positive impact on the world’s public transportation. The company is very flexible in terms of working from home/office, which is very helpful, especially for those who live further away. A great atmosphere of “we’re in this together” and working towards a mutual goal. Getting to work with the most recent technology and constantly striving to be innovative.

Cons: Not enough women at managerial positions. As a woman, I don’t have many role models to look up to within the company. Some managers are amazing and some are so-so. I’m lucky to work with the better ones who care about their employees as much as they do about their own (and Via’s) success. The compensation process is unclear and slow. You won’t get a raise for just doing a good job for years, and there are no annual bonuses or anything like that.
