I received a call from HR and scheduled an interview.

The interviewer introduced himself, and I introduced myself.

He asked some basic core Java questions:

• First non-repeated character in a string
• Recursion in Java
• Difference between SOAP and REST
• Method overriding
• Difference between the start() and run() methods in Threads

Those were all the questions. I answered them all, but as I have never worked with Threads, I mentioned I didn't have much idea about them.

After the interview, he asked me to wait. After some time, HR told me I could leave for the day.

I asked HR for the interviewer's feedback. HR told me, "You are okay-okay as per the interviewer. They will consider you for other openings."

I cannot understand what was wrong with my answers; they did not select me.
