I applied for a Senior Software Engineer role at Visa. I completed the technical assessment and scored 4/4, demonstrating full proficiency. Despite this, I was asked to retake the assessment, and my score dropped to 3/4. I was then sent a rejection email.

This retake request felt like a complete waste of time and showed a lack of respect for the effort candidates invest. If Visa expects candidates to go through assessments multiple times after proving their abilities, they should at least acknowledge the hours lost and reconsider this inefficient process. I hope Visa improves this process so future candidates do not experience the same frustration.
