The interview process with Visa is quite time-consuming. I received a call for the role of Senior Software Engineer after applying through my university.
The first round was very basic. They asked me fundamental questions on Java and some file manipulation.
The second round was conducted on HackerRank, and the questions were standard. There was sufficient time to answer all of them.
The third round was onsite in Foster City. I was accommodated in a very nice hotel in Redwood City and reached the Visa office at 7:45 am for the "Super Day" interview.
There were three rounds onsite, all technical except the last one, which included some behavioral questions. Each round was one hour long and required writing code on the board. The interviewers were friendly and tried to help me cover corner cases.
The day concluded with lunch, and I then departed for the airport. I received the result within a week.
