Poor pay. No technical challenge. Work-life balance takes a hit. Regional politics: Tough for North Indians to survive if your manager is from South India. Roles are very confusing.
Improve pay, fix hierarchy, and train people leaders.

Senior Data Engineer
They have 3-4 rounds. There were 2-3 technical rounds and a hiring manager round. The first round was pure DSA. The second and third rounds were for SQL and Spark processing. Data structures was moderate in difficulty.
