Several reasons as to why working at Visa was a positive experience (this is as of 2019):
Individuals are allotted to teams without prior consideration of their personal interests. (For some, this is a big problem!)
Regardless, it's worth mentioning that HR and the managers evaluate the individual and accordingly match their role at the company most of the time.
Visa's reputation as a company is among the world's best! However, many believe there's something crucial missing in the compensation given by the company. To attract more top tech talent, especially in the Indian ecosystem, many employees believe that the CTC given must include Restricted Stock Units, just like every other top tech company (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce to name a few!) provides to their employees. Providing new college grads with RSUs + competitive stock options would reflect Visa's compensation more in light of the company's stellar role in the market!
