One of the recruiters contacted me for a full-stack role positioning. They got a lot of details from me and asked me to share my CV. They then mentioned there would be a HackerRank round since my CV got shortlisted.
At the same time, I had also asked for the job description initially, but that request was blatantly ignored. When the person responsible for scheduling got in touch with me, I asked the same thing. They said that it would be given to me in the HackerRank round with the panel.
Now, I called up the recruiter again to let me know what the position was, what level it was, and all. I said I wouldn't be making it to the HackerRank round without knowing these important details.
In the end, they just ghosted me for asking a very simple and valid question. The recruitment process does say a lot about the company, and honestly, I will never recommend this company to anyone!
Very bad experience.
