After a brief phone call with HR, a face-to-face interview was scheduled. I went expecting an easy interview but was surprised by the difficulty of the questions. I still managed to clear all the rounds.
In total, there were three technical rounds, ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Some HR questions were also included for my role, such as how to deal with a non-cooperative junior.
The interview process was acceptable, but the HR team here is somewhat rude and uncaring. No time was given to decide after the offer was sent. To simply hear the offer numbers, you have to go to the office. There was no negotiation whatsoever. The "BV" started even before I accepted the offer. I also felt that the job description was somewhat sugar-coated. Feedback from friends and other sources let me know that the work here is quite hectic and work-life balance is skewed.
Overall, the company environment and policies felt unfriendly to me, so I rejected the offer. The pay may be good, but do talk with the hiring manager (not the HR representative) before you accept to understand what is expected of you.
