Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript) Interview Experience
Process
The worst part was that the meeting was set for 10 AM EST, but they showed up on Zoom at 10 AM CST because they were conducting from India.
At some point, five people were in the Zoom meeting. I was asked to implement a function to merge two objects. They did not like my five-line solution using reduce. Instead, they showed me a 20-30 line solution with significant memory usage and many unnecessary loops, saving intermediate results in multiple variables. Yet, they called me "not senior enough."
