The process began with writing a program to test your programming skills (in any language; I did it in Scala, as I've been working with it so far), test coverage, and documentation, based on an email with instructions. I had four days to complete it before they called me to a face-to-face interview.
The face-to-face group interview involved questions about my previous experience, how I've solved specific production problems, and so on. It was generally a good chat, where I explained what I had done so far and my career intentions.
It was more of a chat than specific questions based on your previous experiences. They also wanted to know how my experience with distributed systems was, a key requirement for working there. Asynchronous and non-blocking programming with Scala made it easy for me.
