I applied and received a "cultural fit" assessment to fill out. After I completed it, the assessment was still showing as pending. I called the career department and was told everything was in good standing and that my result came through as "Excellent Fit" – yay!

A week later, I received a rejection email. Clearly, the rejection must have been based on my resume itself.

Why do companies waste our time with useless assessments if they do not like the resume in the first place? These practices need to stop!

I have not gotten past the Cultural Assessment.
