Pros: Hands-on open-source projects, with no political BS or 'oh, we can't use GPLv2' big-company crap. Very flat and transparent management. Recognition for what you have done, but no micromanagement. Food/snacks on Fridays/Wednesdays (I know we're not Google/Facebook, but it ain't bad at all. There have been some really weird cuisines, like Myanmar). Constant nerf war (wait, I should put this under Cons).

Cons: - Like others said, health insurance is really subpar. I hope the management can do something about it. It's really a drag for people with family. - Constant nerf war (wait, I should put this under Pros)
