The process looks okay, but the people conducting interviews behave like children. There's a high level of unprofessionalism and a lack of maturity. If such people exist throughout the organization, I would never want to work there, no matter what they offer.
One thing that puzzles me is why interviewers ask for real-world problems to solve instead of asking about the current work you're involved in. Why don't they ask about complex challenges you've solved or the technologies you're an expert in?
Why are they more interested in seeing lines of code on paper than understanding the core logic and solution?
Even if they are interested in seeing code on paper, why can't they clearly state what they are expecting?
They just keep smiling, and you have to guess what they expect. Seriously, it's a big time waste.
