Staff Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Diego, California

Process

The interview process consisted of three phases.

First, a recruiter contacted me regarding my job application. This was followed by a short technical discussion with a hiring manager.

The third phase involved a three-hour in-house interview, which featured numerous quiz-like questions, delving into sorting and scheduling algorithms.

I followed up with the recruiter and learned that the position had already been offered to someone else.

Interestingly, before attending the interview, I had noticed that the job application had been removed from their website. I'm unsure why they proceeded with my interview if they had already selected a candidate.
