Web Developer Interview Experience - San Jose, California

October 1, 2017
Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview was conducted via phone screen through a computer. The hiring manager was unable to attend, so the skill evaluation began immediately.

I lacked interview practice at the time and was working on a C# Unity project instead of web stack technologies, so I naturally failed to impress. The questions were basic; completing a few days of simple programming drills would have resolved any issues. There were no strange or out-of-the-ordinary questions.

Broad questions covered web development, CSS, JavaScript, and React.

Overall, it was a professional and to-the-point interview.
