Too many chiefs, not enough Indians
I love the NWA area. Both the company and community are very family-friendly. The pay isn't bad when you factor in the cost of living for the area.
Poor management. I've rarely felt micromanaged, but I've also rarely felt managed. Yearly evaluations are a joke. There's very little motivation to push yourself except for personal growth and career development. ISD is run by third parties.
There are three things that are currently driving me away from ISD:
- Middle Management (not sure what value they provide for the company)
- Third-parties and outsourcing everything
- Seeing people above me that know less and do less
