The only pros working at Walmart were the 2 15-minute breaks and hour lunch break. Plus, you could clock in from your work, and some of the customers could be nice and warm to work with. You could also earn a high school diploma, and you had access to your check early.
Walmart will say you are part-time, but you will work up to 45+ hours per week. The only difference between full-time and part-time was that full-time had benefits. You work either the same amount as someone who is full-time or more.
Stop trying to make people work more than they were assigned. Stop having favoritism as well.
The interview was very easy, and I was hired right away. They asked for availabilities immediately. HR was a little hard to deal with, but it was easy to get the job. It took a month or two to hear back after applying, though.
It was not hard; it was easy. However, I had to apply online and go in physically a lot of times to ask if they were hiring. I did not get a reply until I got lucky and received one.
I was hired on the spot through email. No interview was needed at all after my application, and training began immediately after I showed up for my first shift. Introduction and set-up were done through the training process.
