Pros

The employees pull together as a family when one of their own is in need. The company overall is not a bad company to work for.

Cons

The managers need to be trained to be people-friendly. Some of them are not. We are always short-handed, both on the sales floor and with cashiers. It's very hard to wait on customers when there are only two or three registers open because of no staff. Second shift is the worst.

Advice to Management

Brush up on your people skills. People work better when they know they are appreciated and not something to be barked at.
