Understaffed and overwhelmed
A decent pay, I suppose.
Incompetent management will expect you to play the role of a security guard and a cashier at the same time. Customers can verbally abuse you, even threaten you (in my personal experience), and still be allowed to shop in your store. Market management sets down rules that are to be followed. Workers try to enforce those rules, but due to being understaffed, it simply isn't feasible.
