You are a small part of the well-oiled machine. The company "Rah Rah" gets tiresome. Micro-management to the point of being suffocating.
Rethink the wisdom of randomly shifting operational managers from position to position solely to "shake things up". If it is a cross-training opportunity or a skill set match, it would make more sense.
