Pros

Zero. No amount of pay would suffice to put up with the crazy expectations.

Cons

The turnover rate requires a revolving door in their IBM building on J Street. There is an extremely high amount of H1B Visa employees, making communication difficult. There isn't a single process in their software development cycle that is considered a best practice.

Prime contractors and subs try to convince Walmart of the unnecessary and unrealistic expectations, only to fall on deaf ears. Their project is grossly mismanaged and is hemorrhaging funds. The people running their facilities IWMS implementation project do not listen to recommendations from upper-level management subcontractors.

Advice to Management

When you go with the lowest bid and rely heavily on offshore work, you deserve everything that happens to the project. Cut out the ridiculous cheerleader meetings and allow enough time for actual work. Six hours of meetings and two hours of production is anything but productive, unless you expect the scales of work-life balance to be tilted completely to work and no life.
