Pros

The company policies are really good. They compensate the associates quite well. Reimbursements for travel, phone, WiFi, etc., are given.

The working hours are quite flexible and completely vary from team to team. The food is simply awesome.

Cons

You can't change your team within 18 months of joining the company. The teams are also assigned randomly.

The work is not really the best, and most of the people who have experience in working at Walmart are mediocre at best. Their yearly reviews are a joke, and a strict policy of an enforced bell curve is followed. So, you will see people not at all working getting higher ratings than those who are doing a really good job, all in accordance with the team.

The hiring is on an insane level, and the company is really overcrowded. It's really difficult to shine in such a large crowd.

Advice to Management

Stop taking so many people. Have a more uniform system of reviewing the associates (almost 2k as I'm writing). There is no flexibility in choosing your team. Maybe just a bit of it would really help. The direction for a person joining the company is not really clear.
