Good company to work for if the management gets its act right. Lots of opportunities to grow within the company. They invest a lot of money into e-commerce, which is a good sign.
Management seems mostly clueless. The food at the cafeteria is pathetic, mostly feels like jail food. Certain small things make a huge difference for your experience as an employee (healthy good food, clean restrooms, fun Fridays). None of that exists. It seems like too much politics, and you have to be on good terms with certain people to survive, or you will be branded. People try to create a monopoly. Hiring new people to change the culture is a good idea, but new joiners feel stifled by a lack of support. A few things need to be changed, and management can easily change this place from a so-so workplace to a very good, enriching work experience.
Take cues from some of the other big companies and change management practices.
Smaller teams, better support, less politics.
I was contacted by phone. The recruiter scheduled me for an online coding interview. After completing that, I was scheduled for a system design interview. I did not pass the system design interview.
Round 1 - It included questions on data structures and algorithms, arrays, trees, and sorting concepts. Round 2 - It was based on basic Core Java questions like overloading, collections, design patterns, custom objects, and types of Map.
After a job interview, you might be asked for your email. They will then send you a background check form to fill out. After completing your background check, which usually takes two days, Walmart HR will call you in for orientation on the third day
