Pros: It was an amazing environment. I could see they really had a great culture, and people who worked there seemed happy--albeit overworked. They didn't seem to mind, though. I remember looking at other teams and seeing a great dynamic. They had a teamwork and task board, and everything you'd want in a dev job.

Cons: My team was not so great. Everyone on it was afraid for their job, it would seem. People were hard pressed to help others out because they were so busy, and when it came to developers teaching new ones, it was non-existent. Management was never there, and when they were, all they did was let you know how they were going to fire you if you didn't pick things up quicker. This was despite it only being week two, and you've hardly had time to learn a new language that you picked up for the first time within the company. All they've given you to work with is another dev's code who won't document and doesn't have time to explain the nuances of a language you've never worked with. My coworkers would undermine my work by doing the same task as me but in less time because they didn't want to wait for me to learn. I had to reach out to other teams for assistance because mine refused to assist my integration. No mentorship. I would have nightmares about being told I was fired for weeks until they finally fired me. I only realized right when they did that I had finished what they asked me to do. Management had just not paid attention because they were too busy.

Pros: Fair pay and lots of incentives and opportunities for current employees.

Cons: Commute traffic, depending on where you leave, may wear you off with time.

Pros: None, they don't value employees.

Cons: Don't care for employees, pay under industry standards. Just a horrible company.
