Asked about my work, I mentioned some of the tech and projects I currently lead. Nothing new, as it was all already on my resume.
After, they mentioned that it doesn't seem like it's a fit due to "we work with a lot of data points" and "looking for a leader." When I asked for clarification since I'm literally a team lead, the recruiter replied by asking how big my company is. I answered 300-500, to which he compared saying ours is 35,000. Odd comparison; I didn't realize companies had to be the same size.
Very confusing interview, as everything I shared was information already on my resume. I would not recommend anyone waste their workday for this.
