Lacks planning. A lot of ad hoc work with no work-life balance
The technical stack is good; nothing else.
Managers lack planning and always expect resources to have their back when a crisis hits. Teams do not work well in collaboration; it's always at launch that everything gets noticed and becomes a P1.
Work-life balance is not that great, and people are sometimes expected to work on holidays. I expected a better, innovative, and product-oriented culture. Treat contractors with respect, like equal employees.
Work on how different teams can collaborate effectively and sort things out well in advance rather than finding issues always at the nth hour.
