Process
I had an experience of 2.8 years in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
An in-person interview was scheduled at 11:30 AM on February 2nd, 2019. As there was a huge crowd and due to some technical issues, the interview happened at 6:15 PM.
I think there were 3 rounds: 2 technical rounds and 1 HR round.
Questions
Write a COBOL program to print common records from two files, File A and File B, to File C.
What is the difference between SEARCH and SEARCH ALL?
What is the difference between INSERT and SELECT in DB2?
What happens if the primary and secondary space is full?
Why is it necessary to indicate primary and secondary space?
Suppose there is a program A that CALLS program B. How do you define the linkage section in the called program for variable declaration?
If you have to return back to the called program, how do you code that in program B?
