There are a lot of opportunities to move around.
The firm has held the threat of employee reduction over employees' heads for more than a decade. Raises are at or below CPI. Unless you get a promotion, your salary will slowly decline due to inflation. The firm seems committed to moving its technology work offshore. The technology it uses is decades behind.
Wells Fargo behaves exactly as expected, based on industry and regulatory environment. I have no advice for management. Shareholders love them; they're clearly doing it right.
Mostly the questions were on sorting algorithms and searching algorithms (easy level). They also asked about OS and SQL. I was also asked questions related to my future plans. Overall, the interview level was easy.
The technical interviewer had a condescending tone and attitude, and he was interested in showing his superiority. It was a very poor experience, as candidates should be treated humanely and with respect. The company has a good work culture, though.
