Pros

Best "for profit bank" I've worked for. They show they care about their employees, based on how you are treated by senior leaders, direct leaders, and team leaders. Many job opportunities are posted everyday on the internal job website.

Cons

Compensation seems low compared to other companies in the direct area. A lot of "new" managers with 3 years or less of experience are learning to balance how to manage a team and individuals while learning how to be a manager. Although there are lots of job postings internally, competition is either high, or a posting is made just for technicality, as the hiring manager already has their person of choice waiting. Good tuition reimbursement plan and benefits.

Advice to Management

Better align with competitor compensation plans in the area.

Retaining talent isn't only about thinking the economy prevents people from quitting due to low pay.

Projects are only important to plan if your team likes their leadership enough to perform well.
