The initial hike is very good. That's how these people lure candidates.
Other benefits, like medical insurance, are standard; no need for special mention.
They provide transport, though I'm not sure how it works, as I use my own.
I came here after working for one of the Big 4. It was the worst decision I made. A strict "no" if you are coming from one of those 4, buddy.
They lack social ethics. Everyone, including me, realized this after joining. This will be understood by people who have been in product-based companies.
The average age of employees here is 38-40. The mindset is so black and white that you can't resist walking away.
Most of the managers here are managers because of their years of experience and not because of their skill. Hope everyone knows how bad it is to work with such people.
Most of the managers and above levels are from service companies like Infy, TCS, Wipro, CTS, TechM. They try to show off their good-for-nothing skills, which they learned from their previous experiences (e.g., implementation of parking stickers).
There is no scope for learning new things, as most of the applications are legacy with very little scope for change.
The above combination makes it even worse for candidates during goal setting.
My suggestion for candidates is to get your JD properly described, talk to your manager, and see what sort of a person he is and what you will be working on. Then take a call.
This is especially for people who have >6 years of experience, as it will be tough to get a call from there on.
Oh, and by the way, you will be called a 'Team Member'. Every resource/employee of Wells Fargo will be called a Team Member.
PS: I F'ing Lost My All Goddamn Ass Off when they said this during induction.
Think twice before you become a Team Member ;)
There's no advice, as they have to fire themselves and bring in worthy people in their positions, which is like a snake eating its tail. Not going to happen.
Now I need to go back to my seat, as my manager sees how many 'minutes' I am not at my desk.
The interview went well. It included clear and direct DBMS questions focused on basic concepts, and one simple DSA question that was easy to approach and solve. Overall, the difficulty level was moderate, making the experience comfortable and smooth
I was interviewed at Wells Fargo, Hyderabad location. There were many candidates for different roles. I waited for around 1 hour, after which I was called for the first round. The first round lasted for around 50 minutes. The interviewer told me t
They took two technical interviews in one day. * Explain architecture of your project * Alot about automation framework They wanted to check more about the type of work I do and what I can do. Overall, the interview was good because I was confiden
