Pros

The overall benefits package has kept pace and is commensurate with other players in the financial industry, but is not the best.

Cons

Over the past few years, there seems to be a preference to hire foreign nationals versus pulling from local areas in which Wells Fargo operates.

This leads to teams that have to deal with communications, disparate work hours, and cultural issues, which makes the ability to provide a quality-tested software product extremely difficult and stressful.

Advice to Management

We need to be careful that hiring practices reflect the demographics of the area in which the company is hiring. Too much emphasis seems to be on employing foreign nationals versus seeking local prospective employees.
