The type of managers who are only concerned with climbing the corporate ladder without appropriate knowledge or skills are a net detriment to the company, as well as to the employees under them.
Any low ratings I'd give only pertain to a small number of managers.
Some of the worst managers hire their acquaintances, even if they lack knowledge. Despite candidates performing extremely well in interviews, they aren't considered. It's a waste of time, especially with managers in Hyderabad. Interview Experience I
