Pros

A big financial services brand, you get to learn a lot about the financial domain and the US banking system.

New CEO with a new vision is trying to streamline roles and optimize business expenses.

Diverse LOBs, so you have good career opportunities later in the future.

Team members are supportive and good to work with.

Pay is decent.

Medical health insurance for your parents is included.

Cons

Brand has taken a hit in the past few years because of scandals and asset cap.

Too many layers of management. Many managers for one dev. You have a scrum manager, an onsite manager, and an offshore manager, and each has at least two levels up.

Local managers have no power except handling approvals for timesheets, leaves, reimbursements, and other spreadsheets. Power is centralized in the US, and Indian management is just a proxy!

Legacy systems. You will get frustrated at one point in time seeing the tech being used.

Very slow systems for development. Systems get stuck now and then. IT support throws blame on your internet provider.

Advice to Management

Try to streamline the layers of management. I don't think it is efficient to have deep layers of management. Try to get to a flat hierarchy to retain top talent; otherwise, you need to settle for mediocre yes-men.

Improve your infrastructure to support fast development.
