The process began with a phone interview, followed by a live HackerRank coding interview. During the coding interview, I was asked to solve a multi-part question.
After successfully completing the first part, I was given a follow-up question. I did not solve the follow-up in the exact manner the interviewer expected, though I did arrive at a reasonable solution. The interviewer requested I solve it in their "expected" way, which was frustrating as I did not have sufficient time to do so.
Overall, the experience felt like a trivia challenge where I failed to satisfy the interviewer's specific demands rather than demonstrating my problem-solving abilities.
Following the interview, I received a condescending rejection email stating how "incredibly high" their hiring bar is.
